Ordered my nice new Canon EOS 400D yesterday. Can’t wait to use a Canon again. I really didn’t get on all that well with Nikon. I had some gripes with the CoolPix 8700 the Nikon was a very fine camera and if you own one I’m sure it’s great, it’s just not for me or the sort of photos I like and want to take.

I bought the 400D Kit that comes with a 18-55mm lens that some people say is ok if it’s the Mk2 but on the whole people aren’t too pleased with it, I’ll enjoy reviewing it for myself soon. I’m intending to get another lens anyway so shouldn’t matter that much unless I want that sort of range.

Anyway can’t wait for it to get here, I’ll post some test shots once I have got settled and got it set up how I like my camera’s. I’ll also get around to sorting the photo gallery, I intend to re-upload all the pictures plus all the ones that people took at the wedding reception.
